The following constitutes our Terms & Conditions of Sale. These terms are regulated by Scots Law and do not affect your statutory rights. By ordering goods from us you are deemed to have accepted our Terms & Conditions. Please read this page carefully.
All product prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT (at the current rate of 20%) and exclusive of packing and shipping charges. The shipping cost (incl VAT) for each product is clearly displayed on the product page.
When we receive your order and payment in full, you will be notified by email that we have accepted your order. If there are any issues with your choice of delivery dates, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of your options.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. We use SagePay to collect payments. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We aim to dispatch all of our orders within 48 hours of acceptance, unless otherwise requested by the customer. We use a trusted and reliable courier providing next day delivery for mainland orders and 2 days for Highlands and Islands,
As it is important that live plants are not damaged by being held in transit over the weekend, mainland orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday and Monday – Wednesday for Highlands and Islands (excepting Bank Holiday Mondays).
Your order should be delivered within the timescale detailed above. You will be asked to sign for it, unless you have left instructions to the contrary when you placed your order. In any case goods should be inspected on receipt. If the packaged is damaged on arrival this must be stated when you sign for it. Carefully unwrap your plant, give it a little water and keep out of direct wind or harsh sunlight for 24 hours.
We operate a no quibble guarantee. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it to us for a full refund. If your purchase is damaged on arrival, please call or email us as soon as possible. It would be helpful if you could email a photograph of the damaged goods. In this instance, we will arrange to have the damaged plant/s collected and to replace them if possible or provide a full refund.
Stairway does not disclose buyers information to third parties, other than those absolutely necessary for couriers to deliver your purchases. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart.
All the information, content, text, images, including but not limited to html code, photography and buttons are the property of Stairway, and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without obtaining our specific written consent in advance. All trademarks used or referred to in this site are the property of their respective owners.

All items are offered subject to availability. Stairway reserves the right to withdraw any item previously offered for sale on our website.
From time to time it may be necessary to increase prices and / or shipping charges. This of course will not affect any orders already received.
We do our utmost to ensure that the information on this website is accurate. However we cannot guarantee this. Stairway does not accept liability for any errors and omissions and we reserve the right to change products, descriptions and prices from time to time. However, we will ensure speedy correction of any errors and/or omissions after being notified of them. Stairway will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the product purchased in respect of any claim.
